HOW IT WORKS
RULES

• Anyone wishing to apply for a stall must initially email market@free-winnifred.com. You will be
sent an application from which you must fill out fully so that your application can be assessed.
You will then be added to our data base of potential traders.

• Priority will be given to stall holders from East Portland, organic, home/hand made/grown
products, traditional crafts, ecological sustainability. If you live out of Parish you can still apply
and will be emailed when we have ‘open to all’ markets which will be advertised later in the
year.

• Duplication will be avoided as much as possible, unique offerings will be favoured.
• Before each monthly market an email will be sent out the week prior to potential traders and all
those wishing to trade must inform us of that intention so we don’t become over crowded. We
have space for 25 stalls and after that no more will be allowed as space is tight.

• Stalls who have not booked in will be turned away and this will be STRICT.

• The fee will be payable to the door and a list of stalls will be at the gate and your names will be
ticked off as you enter.

• The regular Winnifred beach vendors will always have a spot if they want it.

• Vendors are asked to bring their own equipment in the first instance, a fold up table, banner,
price tags etc. Set up is from 7-9.am.

• Market opens at 10 am. Closing time 3pm

• Any local, home made produce. Fruit and vegetables, herbs, seedlings, seeds, plays, crafts
(hand made in Jamaica only), home made cosmetics, soaps and oils, Honey, cakes, spice mixes,
pickles, breads, hand made clothes. If in doubt please message. NO HOT FOOD

• Unloading will be followed by instructions of where to park (no parking next to stall because of
space, you can unload but not remain).

• This is an eco market, strictly no plastics, no commercial reselling, just wholesome homemade
handcrafted local please and thank you.

• Please email your application form to info@free-winnifred.com
